Hungarians at Night: House Concert
Monday, July 28, 2025 at 8:00 PM
Immerse yourself in the sounds of Hungary! A program both folk and nature-inspired, featuring lively serenades by Kodály and Dohnányi, and riveting dance melodies set by Béla Bartók. Prepare to be chilled by the creaks and croaks of the nocturnal landscape, depicted musically by György Ligeti in his first string quartet, itself heavily inspired by the momentous quartets of Bartók.
House concerts are kindly hosted by members of the Anchorage community in their own homes. Venue address will be provided to patrons one week prior to the concert.
